On June 23 – 27, 2018 the Budget advocacy school for palliative care will take place in Kyiv. Public activists, as well as representatives of non-governmental organizations working in the field of palliative care, are invited to participate in the contest.
With the support of the International Renaissance Foundation, the charitable organization “Light of Hope” and the NGO “Institute of analysis and advocacy”, Budget advocacy school experts will disclose all the secrets of the best practices in palliative care.
In the framework of Budget advocacy school for palliative care, the following issues are planned to be considered:
Participation of non-governmental organizations in the formation of local policy on palliative care;
Algorithm for the development and approval of regulatory documents (orders, regulations, regulatory acts);
Ways to establish partnership with local authorities;
Participation of civil society representatives in the processes of forming priorities of local authorities;
Development and implementation of advocacy campaigns at the regional level;
Use of analytical research in advocacy campaigns;
Monitoring the implementation of targeted programs.
